Hartland International School is elated to announce that our premier choir, ‘Hartmonies’, has secured the esteemed ‘Choir of the Year 2025′ title at the recent ChoirFest Middle East. This victory underscores our students’ unwavering commitment to musical excellence and the arts.
The competition, held over four days at GEMS Wellington Silicon Oasis, featured 40 school choirs from various emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Al Ain. With 600 young voices aged between 6 and 11 participating, the event showcased the rich tapestry of choral talent within the UAE.
Our ‘Hartmonies’ choir’s journey to this accolade is a testament to their dedication and passion. Under the guidance of Choir Director Gareth Ansell, the students have continually honed their craft, embodying the spirit of teamwork and musicality. Mr. Ansell expressed his pride, stating, “We are thrilled to have won for the second year. As a school, we are so proud of all the students in ‘Hartmonies’; their dedication to improving amazes us at every rehearsal.”
This consecutive win not only highlights the choir’s consistency but also reflects the broader commitment of Hartland International School to fostering artistic talent. We believe that such achievements enrich our students’ educational experiences, promoting confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all members of ‘Hartmonies’ and express gratitude to the parents and staff who have supported this journey. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to nurturing our students’ talents further and inspiring future generations to pursue excellence in all their endeavours.
