In response to the financial challenges faced by families during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hartland International School has implemented several measures aimed at easing the burden on parents. Recognising the widespread economic impact, the school has reduced its fees significantly, with reductions of up to Dh15,000 for the academic year. Year 1 fees, for instance, have dropped from Dh65,000 to Dh49,800, while fees for Year 11 students are now Dh74,000, down from Dh78,000.

Fiona Cottam, the school’s Principal, emphasised that these changes reflect a deep understanding of the community’s needs, especially as many families have faced salary cuts and loss of benefits. By making these adjustments, Hartland aims to provide financial relief and ensure that high-quality education remains accessible, regardless of the economic situation.

Additionally, Hartland has made uniforms optional, enabling students to wear their previous school attire. The school’s efforts also include reducing the number of workbooks required, further minimising costs for families. These initiatives highlight the school’s commitment to supporting the community and being part of the solution during these uncertain times.

Hartland International School remains focused on adapting to the evolving needs of its families, maintaining its strong educational standards while also fostering a supportive, cost-conscious environment for students.
